WARNER BROS. PICTURES’ ERLINA SUHARJONO TO RECEIVE 2015 CINEMACON PASSEPARTOUT AWARD
WASHINGTON D.C. (April 3, 2015) – Erlina Suharjono, Senior Vice President, Asia Distribution, and Managing Director, China and Hong Kong at Warner Bros. Pictures, will receive this year’s “Passepartout Award” as part of the convention’s International Day, it was announced today by Mitch Neuhauser, Managing Director of CinemaCon. The CinemaCon “Passepartout Award" is presented annually to an industry executive who demonstrates dedication and commitment to the international marketplace. CinemaCon, the official convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), will be held April 20 - 23, 2015 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Suharjono will be presented with this honor at The International Day Luncheon will take place on Monday, April 20, 2015.
Previous honorees of the CinemaCon Passepartout Award include Richard Fox, Warner Bros. Pictures, Jack Ledwith, Universal Pictures International, David Kornblum, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and Craig Dehmel, 20th Century Fox International.

Erlina Suharjono oversees the Warner Bros.’ theatrical operation in Asia, including the distribution and marketing of Warner Bros. films in China and Hong Kong, as well as supervising the Studio’s network of affiliate offices and licensees throughout the region. She is also responsible for the acquisition of local Asian film product and the continued expansion into new theatrical markets. Relocating to Hong Kong, Suharjono first joined Warner Bros. in 1993 as an Assistant Marketing Manager for the Studio’s international operations in Hong Kong, and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming Regional Distribution Manager for Asia the following year. Suharjono’s work in China has also steered the Studio to soaring heights at the box office in China, where it has seen more than $1.3 billion in grosses since 2007.
Prior to joining Warner Bros., Suharjono began her career at Pavilion Theatres Sdn Bhd (PTSB), the Malaysian subsidiary of the Cathay Organization. At the age of 25, she set up Cathay’s Malaysian office and directed the operations of the three largest theaters in the country, revitalizing every aspect of its business from programming to marketing.
