CUBA GOODING, JR.
PRESENTED WITH BRENDEN CELEBRITY STAR AT LAS VEGAS PREMIERE OF “WHAT
LOVE IS”

Photographers were clicking away and fans were out in droves inside the
lobby of the Brendan Theatres at the Palms Resort and Casino on Saturday
night, March 17. The excitement was surrounding Academy Award winning
actor Cuba Gooding, Jr. as he walked down the Red Carpet to meet with
theatre owner Johnny Brenden who presented him with his own Brenden
Celebrity Star. As a permanent fixture on the floor of the theatre
lobby, every movie going fan can see the star below their feet as they
walk on by.
However, this star unveiling ceremony was just the beginning of an
evening that included the Las Vegas Premiere of Gooding’s latest movie
“What Love Is”, a comedy about love from a man’s perspective. Gooding
has star billing among an ensemble cast that includes Sean Astin, Gina
Gershon, Anne Heche, Tamala Jones, Matthew Lillard and an actor who is
also the films writer/director, Mars Callahan.
Joining Gooding on the Red Carpet was Callahan (in a wheelchair) and a
few Playboy Bunnies, each happily posing for the scores of photographers
and fans. Other arrivals included co-star Lillard, actress/supermodel
Amber Smith, from TV’s Sin City Diaries, co-stars Justin Lopez and Elena
Sykova, Executive producer John Quinn, and dozens of VIP invited guests
dressed to the nines who were eager to see the film and go to the After
Party at the Palm’s trendy new nightclubs Moon and the one and only
Playboy Club.

the fabulous Palms Resort.
