Star studded premiere of KENNY CHESNEY: SUMMER IN 3-D at Rave Town Square

The star studded gala premiere of the movie, Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3-D from SONY Pictures Releasing special programming division, was held Saturday evening, April 17 at Rave Motion Pictures, located off of South Las Vegas Blvd.

Among the VIP list of invited guests who showed up for the special screening were several Country Music stars and Hollywood actors that arrived by limousine and were greeted by a crowd of anxious fans. Walking the red carpet were the film's director Joe Thomas, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Dierk Bentley, Reba McIntire (host of Sunday night's Country Music Awards that aired live on TV from MGM's Grand Garden Arena), Jewel, Dave Haywood (Lady Antebellum), Jennifer Nettles and Kristin Bush (Sugarland), Hannah Storme Bush, Academy Award winning actor Morgan Freeman (who narrates the film), actor Matthew McConaughey (one of the presenters at the CMA Awards) with girlfriend, Shear Genius host Camila Alves, CNN reporter Robin Meade, members of Kenny's band, and of course, the man of the hour, Kenny Chesney, who brought along his mom.

Thanks to the amazing technology of 3D images on the big screen which immerses the viewer into the action, it is the next best thing to being up close and personal at a live event, and with the release of his movie, Award winning Country Music superstar Kenny Chesney allows his fans the chance to live the fun, friends, songs and moments from his high impact concerts that were filmed over 6 nights and in five cities during the performer's sold out Sun City Carnival Tour.

Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3D will open in theatres nationwide for limited engagement beginning April 21.

Kenny Chesney is the biggest concert ticket seller of this century. He will be performing at the Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas May 14 and 15 and July 2 and 3.
